Very nice outside dining, very clean with nice views. Lobster roll was delicious, bisque and clams were also very good. Drinks were not that special but overall a good spot for sunny days!

A solid 3.5 ⭐ Fat Tuna gets a lot of hype and so our expectations may have been too high. It’s definitely a beautiful setup with the patio seating and the decor inside, but service and the food was lacking, unfortunately. The lobster ravioli is very small considering its price (I was hoping my 2 kids could share it, but it was only 5 pieces). The bouillabaisse was actually good. I wanted to love this place, but it just fell a bit short.

This is the second time dining here. Both experiences were awesome! I got one of the specials, a Cajun chicken sandwich, and Stacy got the blackened fish sandwich. They were both very good, as were the fries and coleslaw. Bad coleslaw can be a deal breaker for me. We also got a half dozen oysters but we dug into those before I thought to get a pic. They are from a local business Niantic bay shellfish farm. They were very good. Nice and sweet. Look It was a bit busy, we sat at the bar which filled up quickly. Brian never broke stride, he was friendly and attentive. We have a boat in a local marina and I think thus us our new "go to" place!

Although it was a rainy day when I was feeling famished for seafood, this little local gem of a seafood joint by the Niantic harbor area hit the spot. The baby calamari lightly cooked in bacon cream sauce was delicately made. The lobster salad was light but meaty. The local clams and oysters were delightful and the pistachio dark cherry cheesecake topped it all off. Would recommend to travelers going through the area.

We had a fantastic experience at Fat Tuna! Came with my family (party of 5) and started with the raw oysters, oysters Rockefeller, and the calamari caprese—everything was fresh and flavorful, but the calamari caprese stood out. Honestly, it’s the best I’ve had since moving to Connecticut. Our entrees and drinks didn’t disappoint either, generous portions and everything tasted amazing. I also want to shout out both of our waiters, two young men who were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout the night. Big shoutout to the bartender as well, the drinks were on point! Can’t wait to come back when the weather warms up to enjoy the patio. Highly recommend!

Lunch was very good, we stopped in on a rainy day and we're warmly greated at the bar. I ordered a chicken wing special and a order of meatball and ricotta and they were both delicious. Our bartender was very attentive, there was never a empty glass or dirty plate left in front of us. I will for sure be back on a day with good weather
